Material

Sheared beaver fur is the dense, silky-soft underfur, sheared to an optimal height. It is winter-quality, breathable, and odour resistant, composed of 10,000 fur filaments per square inch. This insulation layer is what enables beavers to keep warm while going in and out of freezing water in Northern Canada. 

Usage

Fold the Hand Warmers over your fingers, with the fur against both sides of your hand. Next, push your hand into your mitten to secure the warmer in place. It can also be used with the length going from your wrist to your fingertips, on either side of your hand.

When in contact with the fur your body heat is stored within the fur, circulated back to your hands. This passive warming system does an incredible job of holding a comfortable temperature, keeping you warm but not too hot.

Care

Occasionally, take your Hand Warmers out of your mitts/gloves to air out, lying flat. Simply shake to fluff up, as needed.

If the fur is damp, shake out the excess moisture, gently reshape the leather, and leave to air dry on a flat surface. Avoid getting wet and prevent contact with direct heat and lotions, perfumes, etc.  

Sunlight is a natural deodorizer. Occasional, short exposures (1–3 hours) in morning or late afternoon sun is safe for deodorizing.
